Vitamin C dosing for zoanthids (I am clueless)

Give it time, may need to adjust.. Things acted a bit strange in my tank for a couple days but since then everything's been open and happy.. I've been steadily increasing my dosages and everything is happy..

all the zoas in my tank are nice and huge and are multipling quickly. The only negatives so far is the purple haze monti pictured above and now i have a metorshower colony that the polyps wont open im going to continue to dose and see what happens. Ill try to get pics up tonight.

It has been closed for over a week of dosing. Its one of my favorites and I grew it from 2 heads to 14. Don't want to lose it.

I have about 40 gallons total system volume. I did 1/4 tsp at 7 am and 7 pm for a week then bumped up to 1/2 tsp. I just got some acans, an ora bop, and a green mille. I'm going g to take a week off and let them settle in then I may start again at 1/4 tsp twice a day.

Oh. That's a while to be closed, not familiar with Duncan's really but that seems like enough time to start worrying.. Have you changed anything else recently?

The growth on these has been mind boggling!!! So much so, that I have to take a pic from 3 different angles to show all the growth.

i started dosing again, and this time around my duncan is staying happy and open. when dosing i don;t have to clean my glass as much and my skimmer works way better. so glad my duncan is staying open so far this time around.

Dosing is the best thing you can do. I have found that starting slow is the best approach

Ok finally got some pics.
Here is before i had these zoas for about 3 months and never got any good growth. (im sorry about this HORRIBLE pic this was before the DSLR)
Here is a new picture after the vitamin c dosing i would say its been a month or so i would have to look back in this thread:
They have at least DOUBLED in heads!!! Im a fan!

I recently discontinued using vitamin c.... At the beginning I was seeing amazing growth and color but after a couple of months of using it I started having things close up and some of my LPS losing a little bit of color. I also starting having an algae out break. In the week I haven't been using it everything started opening up again..... It may be that my skimmer isn't powerful enough for my bio load... I ordered a nano reef systems skimmer yesterday and want to see if that one pans out to be better than the tunze that I currently have

Hi I just finished reading this whole thread and I am convinced that VC is beneficial to aquariums I have a mostly zoa's and a few LPS corals in a 45 gallon aquarium I didn't calculate the live rock and stuff but I am gonna order the stuff puffer punk recommended I'm just confused on how much to dose the system?
