Wanted to introduce Myself

I was talking about Jason. As you can see, we have a few outlaws in this forum. You got them going now....

Haha...I was kicked off bc people knew I was breeding clownfish...and that turned into posts about my clowns, and other reefers requesting prices on my fish. When all was said and done they decided it would be easier to boot me...lol

+1 on that.I have exspected to get kicked off at anytime.I try not to mention the store much on there.I want to sponser R2R but money is the key.I know it is worth the $ but then I have to do a web site and me and computers dont get along. If I could only use my hammer or drill on it I would be in good shape.LOL.Bob is busy with the new house and does not have time for us [email protected] can't wait to see every one Saturday. This should be a great meet.
Jason

Brandon - I'm not sure I would feel comfortable dealing with someone who has been removed from RC. If they can't trust you why should I? :hammer:

FWIW - They kicked me off over a year ago. They also kicked my wife off just for sharing an IP address with me. You just can't trust troublemakers.

Bealzebub, where are you??

Not on reef central.

FWIW to newbies I was banned on saltwaterfish.com, reef central, and the reef forums at reef.org because of my emphasizing the use of macro algaes to maintain reef tanks. Plus I use NO lights, no water changes, tap water also.

I have since been allowed to post at swf and reefs.org. Seems macros have made a comeback since the DSB "fad" back in 2003

lol...nice mike/dani
Getting back on topic, can you tell me a little more about the fellow reefers in the are? Is there a large population at the meetings/frag swaps?

You see a good number of us posting here and over at the other forum. We keep our troublemakers penned up over here, but one keeps sneaking into the other one periodically. Attendance at NARC meeting has been dwindling over the years although we seem to have a good resurgence of old faces this month. The attendance at regional frag swaps is pretty good - I hear something like 500 for Nashville swap. Somewhat less for Chattanooga. Other swaps are new and small but growing.

NARC meetings in the area have had anywhere from 10 to 40+ over the years, depending on where they were held, how much noise was made in the forums, whether there was frag trading and/or door prizes and most importantly WHAT WE HAD TO EAT! Average attendance is probably about a dozen or so.
NARC is a fairly laid back club with loose membership requirements (to say the least), so it's hard to say how many consider themselves to be members.
HTH,
Mariner

Hey what about the $50,000 in small bills?

Hey guys, just wanted to touch base with everyone. We finally got settled into our home, and I am heavy into shopping for the best location for a storefront.
The location that I'm leaning towards is in Jones Valley...I know its not the easiest to get to for most, but the selection, pricing, and atmosphere will be worth the drive :)
We should have our lease terms/contract by months end, and be open in mid to late June.
I just read the post about Jason.tammy looking to host in May. I would also love to host at our home between now and when the store opens... This way I can get to meet alot of the locals, and you guys can checkout some unique clownfish too.
Hope all is well, and would love to see some full tank shots from local reefers :)

Hey dont forget the Birmingham area folks ... We try to make monthly weekend fish trips and alot of times its in the Huntsville area.. I dont know if you visited any stores in the Birmingham area but we are lacking any good ones.. If you dont mind posting a thread in our club forum its under Barf (Birmingham Area Reef Fanatics) Most of us look under here but for the ones that dont...

Anyway welcome and glad to have you..

Brandon,
Awesome tank, that female clown you have is HUGE!!

and let us know about the web site also

look forward to checking out your shop when you get it up and going!
And mariner has it pegged about the meetings.. The better the food the more people you tend to get lol

Been quiet over here any update Brandon? Hey do you have any photos of your current breeding setup and do you need any help with the shop?
