Warning: Use Vibrant at your own risk

I don't think there is any evidence that Bertram lawyers made BRS do anything - is there? I mean - I suppose anything is possible.
The only evidence is that the video was taken down. But that's pretty good evidence. Lawyers are a cautious breed when it comes to protecting their client's interests. Ask me how I know. ;-)

Anybody can do the bromothymol blue test on their own. It was admitted in federal court as a valid way to detect quaternary ammonium compounds, so it stood up to some scrutiny. It does not say everything, but it says enough to say that the ingredients are not accurate... which UWC admitted to some that it indeed had quat in it.

I know that everybody is just wildly guessing, but my guess would be that BRS did the BMB test and that was enough for some caution.

I have no qualms with BRS just kidding, ya cant say that Ryan guy doesn't look like a hippy. I have a sneaking suspicion that set may smell a little herbal before shooting ;P.
And they leave their covers on indoors...

Personally, I cannot believe that people are buying that Vibrant needs to test this on their own and figure things out. If true, this is pure negligence, but the way that Jeff liked to log on and act like a chemistry pro with all of his posts, the two don't line up.

Would anybody believe that GM did not know that confetti would come out of their airbags, if such a terrible thing were to happen? McDonalds did not know that Kanagroo meat was in their hamburgers (wait, didn't this really happen?)? Firestone knew that their tires were bad. PG&E knew that it had poisoned people. Enron knew that they had cooked the books. This is why I want complete and total condemnation of such practices so that the world can have less of this instead of more - the "it is not that bad since it works" crowd just allow more of this to happen... it only means that you were not one of the ones that died from Cancer from PG&E and one of the ones that had electrical power.

Opinion: This company looks like a class action lawyer’s dream. Ever since purge, I was surprised as to why they haven’t been sued. I didn’t sue them three years ago, simply because I felt like their Vibrant product was working for people, and the hobby is small enough, so I just tossed the Purge bottles and moved on. Now seeing this thread, oh man this is going to be interesting.

It's too easy in this hobby to get rich selling scam products and not get caught. Something needs to be done.

OFF Topic:
Ryan hairstyle = Joe Dirt.
Smoking weed was long before hippies..... Grew as a weed in the states....
Hippies = LSD..
Just say'n
Yes I am old.....

Unfortunately, there's a lot of failure in this hobby. I have failed many times due to my own ignorance.. intentional and unintentional. I sure don't need a manufacturer to add to my failure.

A couple of my observations

when BRS stated 9 out 10 gave it good results, that to me was plausible

uwc going to do their own tests..I don’t get that..on their product it states form by scientists..someone earlier on this thread mention that if they are selling a product that scientists are around, won’t they be doing tests all along to back sure the product they are selling is the same as always

I believe what BRS 'asked for' was an independent lab test - by an accredited lab, and signed off by the engineer. i.e. an independent lab.

Given the interest and number of eyes on this issue, I would expect Ryan to comment on why the video was taken down sometime in the very near future.

If UWC is involved in any way, then it is not independent at all. I could put some macrobacter, RO water, vinegar and vitamin C in a Vibrant Bottle and send it to a lab and call it independent.

If they really care, then BRS should do this themselves with bottles that they got before all of this began.

Could have the independent lab order some from a vendor. I'd assume that is how it should be done. Shouldn't be a vendor sending them a bottle, either.

It's so weird that BRS continues to be called out more on this thread than UWC.
Agreed! What more could we possibly ask of them? They did the commendable thing. They are obviously concerned and pulled sales until testing is complete. I think folks are failing to realize that if testing does in fact replicate @taricha findings. Brs is just a victim as everyone else here. At the end of the day Brs did likely buy this stuff in "Bulk" and will likely lose the most money out of this. Its a horrible situation for all. I just can't get on the blame Brs train for any of this. Cant knock a couple hippies for figuring out a way to be extremely successful in doing something they absoloutely love. This is what makes me get up and go to work everyday.

Perhaps I’ve missed the “blame BRS train”. I’ve not seen any of it on this thread.
