I now realize how crap quality the videos are.. i recorded them on the app “Snapchat” they look crystal clear there but i guess crapped out while uploading. I try to rinse my hands heavily before getting into the tank.. i don’t use air fresheners or anything of the sort.. I’m not ruling much out because I’m still new to hobby but the other clown isn’t effected.

Well I have 2 clowns and one is constantly in the bottom or hiding like yours around the rocks at the bottom. Hes been like that for the most part since I introduced him and another clown 6 months ago. I think it’s because the other clown bullies it a little. He does swim around every once in a while and eats so I’m just guessing it’s from the other clown as all my other fish are peaceful. If parameters are in check and there’s no visible marks then internal parasites or bullying are likely the cause. Have you ever witnessed the poop color of the clown? I had to treat mine after getting with metro and focus because he had white poop.

The poop is stringy at times. I found a forum today regarding internal parasites and stringy poop and then I’ve seen where it’s diet issues.

The sick fish is not at full strength and still goes back to his “dying hole” as someone referred to it elsewhere.. but he is swimming around a little now.

Stringy poop can also be too much protein. What are you feeding them? Are they the o my fish in the tank? How long has the tank been setup?

Tough to tell from the pics but he looks thin and may have had something underlying when you bought him. Any white spots? Any heavy breathing?

It’s been 2 almost 3 months since i got them both. Shipped together. In lfs together. In tank together. If one had it they both would i would think but i could be wrong..

I feed them a mixture of pellets and two frozen fish foods. One is for omnivores and one for carnivores. No other fish in tank just corals and a fighting conch and some snails. Tank has been going since beginning of July

Did you have more than one fish or what because my other clown is fine

I had two clownfish. Only one died, I still have the second chillin in my tank. Weird thing is that it was the big female that died, but the tiny male survived just fine

Hmm.. they haven’t figured out who is who yet. I call one male and one female due to my girlfriend saying the sick one has “side burns so he has to be Clyde and the other has to be Bonnie”

Yesterday. I normally do 3 gallon change then a 5 gallon change and alternate between the two. But i do them weekly. Did one yesterday that was 5 gallons
