Watchguy's SPS Addiction (photo intense)

Wish you had the names above the pieces so I wouldn't have to ask. Gorgeous pieces Mark. :)
I will try and start with new postings. I have not been that diligent in tracking and remembering names of chalices and favias but will work on reconstructing what is what

this a a no-namer I picked up at Coral Gazers a year or so ago as a small frag--I am bedazzled by the incredibly bright green rim and its overall coloration

This is from another southern cal store and online vendor however it is no longer in business
RHS (Reef Hot Spot) Del Sol

Always wanted to stop by Reef Hot Spot back in the days and when I actually did, I just found out they closed down.

great tank man, very well done! :D

Thank you so much

Always wanted to stop by Reef Hot Spot back in the days and when I actually did, I just found out they closed down.

Right near the airport, LAX. Dumpy neighborhood but some really beautiful coral
I love watermelons! Probably my favorite type of chalices. :)

Me too. Watermelons are what attracted me to chalices and they still do. Need to get some rainbows but I have been price intimidated

Here are a few more pieces:

Another no namer, pretty red thing And if you look behind it then you will see my jason fox lantern which is happy in the shadows

Another mummy eye but I just do not remember exactly what it is called

I have a TEC watermelon but I don't know if it is this one--alas I have moved some of these around over time and lost track of which is which

ok, a couple more
Is this the tec watermelon??

Outrageous blue body

this is called a cotton candy chalice. I have it in too much light which I kinda of like--the extra light is from my super cool new lights

a no-namer that is more orangy than the picture and it gets a whitish rim which always makes me worry it is not well but that is just the way it grows

My pink ****** colony and it is really huge.

OMG....! Your photographing skills are as crazy as you coral list. The colors, the arrangement, contrast, you have it all. Very well done. Definitely a furture TOTM

So one more lps and then on to sps, I took a bunch of pics today

Space invader pectinia (two views)

Wild colony (I have had it for maybe a year)

A new wild acro

Continuing on wild acros (maricultured--I have had this one for some months now)

A couple of changes going on with my tank. I changed the lighting, I changed power heads , I wanted to change out some acros for more interesting ones and I had one colony rtn after two years and another half rtn. The two colonies that went south on me, may have been responding to the light change, powerhead change or rise in phosphates, not really sure. But that was very disappointing I learned another lesson, do not try to remove esblished colonies and put frags in their place. It makes the tank look a little yucky. After everything was filling in pretty dense as well, I now have some bare spots. It's exciting placing new frags and hopefully very colorful ones, but the bald spots are hard to take. Well a couple more years and it will be all perfect once again

Vivid's tri color prostrate (a Monti was doing battle with it so its been beaten up a bit)

Ult rainbow acro ( new lighting is making my color rendition off slightly but working it out)

Tyree rouge Millie

SCC Planet Earth---pinkish-red polyps, pretty blue body with green showing through on the lower half--really amazing peace

Rouge millie--not the tyree but really pretty

Rommel's watermelon millie--it changes back and forth all the time--sometimes very yellow, sometimes more green and always with some orange
showing through
