I just recieved and have started my 230.6 waterbox platinum pro tank ( it was a long wait that included a lost tank for almost a month in transit to Alaska)
I have the following equipment for the tank so far
2 orphek Atlantic v4’s
1 core 20 return pump
1 reef octopus skimmer
Neptune apex with 2 WAV power heads, ATO, DOS pumps

I’m using reel reef rocks and aragalive (correct spelling ?) Fiji pink sand.
And I have a full RODI system

Let me know what you guys think

Looks great!

Are those bioballs in the sump?
They are the marine pure balls plus all my left over small pieces from the reel reef rocks, my thought was a little more filtration in the refugium area of the sump so I can add copopods and such to the refug along with some cheto. Is that not a good idea ?

I would prefer to use more live rock instead of the marine pure balls. I’ve never used them but the other balls I’ve used tend to break apart overtime and leave unwanted mush.

Tank looks great! Awesome job on the scape!

Put an ATO on my ATO so it will auto fill from my RODI storage tanks in the garage. Progress is slow since I work a 2 on 2 off schedule at work and we are leaving for vaca today but I should have water in it when I get back the 13th

Back from vacation, finally getting water in the tank and hooking up all the support equipment. Also got a call from Fabio @toplids that my custom lids with the new laser module moonlight are almost ready to ship. Now I’m off to work for 2 weeks so we will see how everything goes

Got my New lid fromToplids in last nite, it fits so well on the water box 230, it’s a 2 piece design, I also had the moonlight upgrade done it uses a laser to shine down a sealed tube which gives it the blue ring around the lid and provides a nice light glow at nite. Also my tank has been cycling for almost a month and I am starting to see some good signs, ammonia is .1 nitrite 0 nitrates about .2

those lids sweet !!

can you take a pic with just the moon lights?

I’m looking at purchasing the 220.6. Could you post a pic of the inside of the stand? Also could you post dimensions of the first area in the stand? I want to know if its large enough to install a controller board
