hi all i have been wanting an upgrade for a while now and the whole time i have been stuck between the Red box Max E-260 or the Waterbox AIO 65.4. and every time i think i have decided i find out something about the other one so i was wondering if anyone who has had waterbox or redsea AIO aquariums or normal could help me with the comparison.
thank you

You aren't going to find red sea love in here.
Nope the op won't for sure. I'm not a fan of spending a grand on an aquarium but I did. If I could go to PetSmart and spend a couple hundred bucks I'd be happy. But I wanted something that looked not normal, or should I rather say something that people where I live haven't seen before.

I've got the water box 35.2 AIO and the tank is visually stunning to say the least and after hearing all the horror stories on the Red Sea tanks busting seams and people waking up to a flooded floor didn't do It for me. I haven't owned the Red Sea but I'm sure they do make good aquariums but honestly if I had the choice as in... You have won a free Aquarium! Both are identical size so pick one, it would be the water box hands down.

Sorry but I got to goof off here for a moment. It's like going out and buying a boat.. either you're going to buy the boat that doesn't have the plug in the back and it's going to sink.. but obviously your going to buy the boat that includes the plug so your ship doesn't sink LOL

The red sea one comes with out a seal.

How's your new puff puff doing? And yes water box is an amazing Aquarium for sure!
Unfortunately the little guy died shortly after being moved to his new home! I believe the stress and new environment caused him to pass sadly. Hewbie on the other hand in my home tank is doing great!:)

I think build quality is slightly better with Waterbox, but RedSea has a really good product stack that makes entry a heck of a lot easier. You can buy everything in a single package and that's a huge advantage.

I ultimately decided on the Waterbox, but I think RedSea would have saved me a lot of time and confusion early on.

No but I will say saltwater puffers and care are mostly the exact same besides tank size. They are full of personality and will see inverts as a yummy snack so they do best in fish only systems. Some people may keep them with corals which I do not recommend. Also sometimes it’s difficult to get them to eat prepared foods/they revert back to eating live from stress and a move so if you have this issue try live foods such as ghost shrimp. And don’t let the begging face fool you. They are like puppy dogs always hungry and watch your fingers they like to bite at least Hewbie does haha. And puffing up as cute as it is…is not good for them and is a sign of stress so try to avoid it and keep stress to a minimum. A lot may chase their reflection/glass surf too so watch for that as it can be a sign of boredom or stress but mine does it when I walk in the room too. Make sure to feed shelled foods and live foods are good every once in a while for their beaks and stimulation. I hope this helps! Definitely do more research before buying one too.:)

I have a Valentini Pufferfish and can help you with any questions you might have. His name is Spud and is by far my favourite fish, and I can't imagine a reef without him in it. That said, even the small Valentini is far from reef safe, so you should expect to encounter some issues.

Each fish is different, but for me, Spud will mostly leave my inverts alone. He has never attempted to eat any of my hermit crabs and aside from an incident where he attempted to nip a snail when I dropped a bunch of new ones in, he doesn't bother them either.

Spud will eat certain corals though. Anacropora, Montipora Digi, or any other crunchy branching Monti will be viciously crunched on, although he seems to give up after a while. He will usually taste every new coral I put in the tank and has killed a Trachy and Acans don't survive in my tank anymore. He developed a taste for the Bali Green Slimer too, but they survived anyway.

So it's been a bit of a guessing game with corals, but nothing too serious. If you expect this and understand that he will kill the odd coral now and then, by all means, give the Valentini a go. It's like owning a dog in fish form. Tons of personality and not a threat to any fish.

I'd go Innovative Marine over WB and RS myself.

This is an honest question ok, Waterbox use a green laser to etch there logo in side the glass. Did IM do that first or no?

I watched a New video on BRStv and seen IM did the same thing so that's why I ask. And yes they look like they also build good tanks as well.
