Waterbox vs Red Sea

I’ve owned my waterbox 65.4 for 3 years now and it’s fantastic. Obviously there are negatives too but it’s not in the quality at all… it’s just the aio chambers in the rear leave your display area less depth. Here is a pic of the tank before I upgraded to a 180 gallon planet aquarium. And also a current pic of the tank which is now a bubble tip nem and leather tank. Still new.. fish are in qt.

If I wanted an AIO i would purchase from IM or Planet. Red Sea is just a no go for me Given the brand’s history. Waterbox looks great but their tanks are built in Red Sea’s old factory in china that Red Sea stopped using due to quality issues. I really prefer (as hard as it has become) to not buy Chinese made products unless I have no other choice

Red Sea is a luxury brand, selling an “environment”. If you are into that kind of thing and don’t mind spending, RS is there for you.

I would definitely do WB or IM if those things don’t draw you, though. You can use the extra $1000 on livestock
