I'm going to do a water change, I did a coral dip using tank water from my 10g tank. The salinity lowered to 1.024-1.023ppm. Going to get it back up to 1.025.

no water change this weekend. Fixed a pump added waste away to the tank. I did clean the skimmer. That thing was foul. Oh my goodness it was nasty nasty

In the process of building an overflow box, drilling tanks, another overflow box, skimmer and sump. All essentially free except some acrylic glue. OK the 55 cube wasn't free. the 40b was though and so is the sump (half inch thick panes 32" x 14" x 14"), the acrylic cast 4 ft. x 6 inch tube and a whole lot of 8" x 36" x 3/16" clear acrylic sheet.. Major score.. about 6 years ago. Thinking about making a Calcium reactor too..
