It looks like dinoflagellates, does any of it have bubbles? Have you tested your parameters? Nitrate and PH?

BRS has a good video on it:

syphon some of it into a container of water and see if it reconstitutes itself in 10 min; if so, could well be dinos. You'll need a microscope to definitively identify and then you can pick appropriate treatment. Very common problem and lots and lots of treatments posted on R2R. I finally had success with Dr. Tim's dino formula and a uv light. Good luck

I think Im going to start with some Vibrant, turn off turf scrubber, remove carbon, and skim wet..

Thoughts?

Sounds like you are pretty sure what you're dealing with and have a strategy to "out compete" the problem. I've never used Vibrant but doubt if there is much difference between it, Dr. Tim's stuff, MB 7, etc. so I would give it a try. Depending on the particular species of dino, it seems that adding uv sterilization can have significant beneficial impact. Good luck; you've got some beautiful corals - I lost three scolys and a couple of symphillia to ovata and learned several lessons the hard way.

Best plan I can come up with. Ive heard a lot of mixed results about vibrant when It comes to fighting Dinos so we will see..

Does any one have any other suggestions?

Thank you!

We have a minor case of dino we're in week 2 of dosing vibrant the tank is clearer but I still see dinos the toadstools. Next week if it doesn't look like it's getting better I was thinking of doing a blackout period, I'm still researching that I welcome helpful links if anyone has them. We will continue to dose vibrant for the next 6-8 weeks to make sure we got everything.

Just remember it's going to take time. If you have any macroalgae in your sump the vibrant will kill it off. We removed all of ours and put it in our QT for the time being.

I have a turf scrubber I’m going to take offline. I’m gonna suck out as much of the Dino’s as possible, no water changes for the foreseeable future either.

Update:

Ive been dosing 15ml of Peroxide every 12 hours. It will be 4 doses this evening. I turned off the algae scrubber and, skimmer, and removed carbon. Added 2 bottles of copepods to up the biodiversity of things that may eat Dinos. I am trying to "dirty" up the water a bit. I also turned off T5s and supplemental lighting, lowered Radions to 35%.

So far so good! They're receding. Each mornings more and more are gone.

It honestly looks more like cyano to me.

never hurts though. Most of the time dinos come right back.

Not going to drop $300 on something I may not need if I follow a simpler approach that works. Im also unemployed at the moment so Its not an option.

Are you judging by the bubbles? Is this a reliable way to separate cyano from dinos?
