Weird, brown goop covering coral

Update:

After 1ml per every 10 gal (15 ml) every 12 hours, for a total of 6 doses, all Dinos have been wiped. Im slowly ramping up the lights back up.

Lesson learned:

A squeaky clean reef is a bad idea. Dinos thrive in crystal clear systems. I will only run my algae scrubber on a night schedule instead of 24/7 to let some phosphates rise.

We have a minor case of dino we're in week 2 of dosing vibrant the tank is clearer but I still see dinos the toadstools. Next week if it doesn't look like it's getting better I was thinking of doing a blackout period, I'm still researching that I welcome helpful links if anyone has them. We will continue to dose vibrant for the next 6-8 weeks to make sure we got everything.
Vibrant will not kill dino as effectively as Peroxide dosed at night ay 1ml per 10 gallons.

Agreed. Decided against it. Straight up peroxide, fed a little more than usual to dirty up the water, turned off skimmer and algae scrubber, removed carbon, turned lights down a bit.. Worked perfectly.

Im gutted. Cant figure what this is or why its happening. Any thoughts?

Blow this stuff loose with a turkey baster and net it up and discard. Filter socks come in handy with entrapment but you must clean sock daily. Reduce lighting turning off whites or even a total blackout for 3-5 days and add peroxide at 1ml per 10 gals each night and do not add nopox or coral foods which are fuel/food for the dino.

Just to show the same leather I posted at the beginning of the thread. I just took this picture.

Update:

No dinos.

If your battling them 1 ml per 10 gal. every 12 hours will do the trick.
