Sorry to hear, I just went and responded. I usually look at the "recent posts" page to find new posts with questions, but it's been hard lately as people will go thru, almost like bots with welcome messages on every new post from the past 24 hours. The other day there was someone who posted to like 30 threads "welcome" within like 5 minutes and thats all that was on the recently discussed page. I understand its important to be welcoming, but when someone new has a question I am not sure they need 40 posts welcoming them to R2R instead of just answering the question.

Hey I just responded to that thread before seeing this one.

It happens to all of us from time to time. The great thing about having a large community is that someone will know the answer to any question that could ever get asked, but like already mentioned the downside is that if no one quickly responds to the thread then it gets buried by other threads quickly. There are a few members who seem to always go through and reply to the unanswered threads, to bump them if nothing else.

There's a lot of posts here every minute and one can quickly get buried without anyone seeing it. It's important to have an eye catching title and you may need to bump the topic a few times

Well living in Canada dosing fish medicine in QT is near impossible as we cant get medication as our government decided to ban most fish medication.

Early on I was given some copper in cupramine so I was treating that for 30 days at theraputical levels for my fish.

My last two additions I just decided to watch them for 30 days and treat nothing ( not sure if this is ideal or recommended ) Its worked out so far .....

So basically to answer your question I only have the ability to copper treat my QT I cant get my hands on prazi or anything like that to treat for internal worms and flukes

any thoughts on just observing a fish in QT for 30 days ? if it shows ich or velvet then copper treat but if nothing shows in 30 days it should be disease free correct ?
