When this happened to me, It was due to false (HIGH) salinity.
Take a water sample to a trusted LFS and have them test: Salinity-PH-alk for you to verify readings and to compare with yours.
I had 3 gages that said tank was 1.024 and 1.025 respectively. It happened to be 1.031. I now calibrate regularly and rinse in ro after use. My duncans are a jungle !

Moderate light and water flow and feeding 1-2X per week is generally all they require.

Well crap. It continued to go downhill and this morning it brown jellied. I immediately turned off flow, took it out and threw it away. Now I’m worried about it spreading to my other lps. Everything in the tank looks great right now though.
