What’s your favorite LARGE angelfish?

If I had a chance to get Genicanthus semicinctus or G.spinus and had the money to put in a 1000 gallon tank for them then I would, but that's too much to dream of. By the way, Genicanthus semifasciatus is absolutely stunning.

I would do the same here, such a pain they’re so rare and expensive when you do see them!

Setting up a 270 gallon, have a good size tang gang already. My brothers saying I should find myself a cool angel fish. What do you guys think would be my best option? Looking for color and size nothing that will outgrow the tank tho.

I've heard these guys are quite unpleasant to other angels (and other fishes), even in oversized tanks, but they are a very pretty fish for sure.

I appreciate a bit ‘left field’ of the topic but out of interest why do angels not get the same level of controversy for keeping in too small tanks as, say, Tangs? Does no one buy young larger angels and move them on when bigger? I don’t hear of ‘Angel Police’. Hope it’s ok to be educated - if not Admin can delete this question
