What are people testing ph with

Trying this one at the moment, but next one will probably be back to cheapest i can find on Amazon again. I really have not found a significant difference personally in how often i need to calibrate or accuracy between cheap and moderately priced ones.

API... Practically the best test kit on the market.
;)
Hey wait I actually do use their pH test. I won't use API for anything critical but on the rare occurrence that I check pH I really do use API.

I've been considering an apex for about a year now, but I'm cheap...and it's cramped inside my stand so I don't really want to do the work to wire it up. As I'm putting more and more money into corals I'm starting to think it may be worth it. Maybe next Black Friday when it goes on sale LOL.

I was kinda making a joke. Lol. I do have their test kits on hand. I honestly don’t measure Ph. But when I have measured ph using the API it always says the same thing. For more critical stuff I definitely use different kits. Hanna for Alk, Phosphate, and copper. Red Sea for calcium and magnesium. And Nyos for Nitrate. I’ll also use API for cycling. I find the ammonia and nitrite easy to read. I know many people have had false positives using API for ammonia. I personally never have. I will say their nitrate kit is complete junk.
It’s way way off. But yes, definitely stray away when things are more critical. Lol!!!

Yep I know you were joking. I like so many people bought the master saltwater kit and since I have moved on to better tests. The only API that I use is pH and it's rare I check it.
Alk/cal/mag is redsea for me (when I run out of reagent I'll switch to Hannah for alk), phosphate is Hannah, and nitrate is salifert.
