What are these all over the glass?

I'm currently dealing with an ich outbreak. I've quarantined a kole's tang Monday and added Cupramine. I've followed the dosing schedule and measured the copper concentration to be at. 5 ppm this morning.
These things on the glass showed up for the first time today.
Are these all ich cysts? And shouldn't the copper have killed them in the "free swimming" life stage?

The pics are blurry on my phone, so I can't help with the identification of those. But, it's not ich on your glass. I don't think ich is viewable by the naked eye when encysted.

No, that is not ich. Ich tomonts, or cysts, could not be seen. Those look a lot like spirorbis worms, but the pictures are too blurry to tell for sure. Try looking up pictures to see if that is what they are.

spirobid worms. They are filter feeders although not welcomed in my tanks. Simply can be removed with edge of an old credit card

Definitely not spirobid worms. I looked up some in ages and I've got those in the DT but these look different. Gimme a minute and I'll use a dslr.

Not hard to the touch, they basically fall/dissolve with a slight brush. I didn't think sponges could survive copper treatment?

Could I be mistaking an ich outbreak for a bacterial infection outbreak? All the symptoms match ich but I know a lot of ailments have similar symptoms.

That last close up does look closer to some type of bacteria or a similar organism. As far as the outbreak goes, we would probably need to see pictures of the fish. It’s more likely that ich is affecting your fish though.

Just for full disclosure:
Started noticing twitchy behavior and tiny white dots on fins last Tuesday 21st.
Came home Monday 27th and the kole's tang was very pale, wouldn't come out, wouldn't eat, very heavy breathing.moved to quarantine and started Cupramine. 2 minute freshwater dip.
Tuesday 28th 4:40 freshwater dip. Extremely rapid and heavy breathing.
Wednesday second dose of Cupramine. In the evening the tang started swimming around the tank. Breathing about the same.
Thursday (today) breathing is somewhat slower but still looks forced.

Royal gramma and a leopard wrasse (were in the same tank) . Both are now showing the same initial signs, scratching on rocks and faster breathing. Both still eating so I'm going to try combining focus and metroplex.
I really think catching the tang and moving him did more damage than good at this point.
