What are these Cobwebs?

Of the snails? I did just switch to a higher quality phyto too, so "they" could be reacting to that

Or something even cooler living in the rocks.

Jus sayin, it took me two years to find the snapping sound. I have a few tiny snapping ghost shrimp in the sand. A skeleton shrimp. About 3-4 mm.

Glad I happened to check out this thread. Saw cobweb in the description and it caught my eye. I think this is a vermetid snail on the base of my coral. I saw a cobweb looking strand that looked like it kept floating across my hammer. I removed the strand but found another later and it was coming from the growth on the hammers base. Here are a couple of pics, sorry about quality, but it's my phones cam. I guess I should scrape it off asap.
