Unfortunately I don’t think my response will be overly helpful because I get a kick out of every kind of blenny I’ve ever seen;Hilarious
Although I’ve never had a blenny- If I had to pick just one it would probably be the sailfin blenny or the tail spot blenny! Can’t wait to see what others have to say, great thread!

Although I have only had him for a month, I flippin love my starry blenny, my favorite fish so far. He sees me and has a place on a rock he perches to hang out and say hi.

That is great! I currently have a bi colour blenny in my tank, loves hanging out with my black and white ocellaris pair and sleeps on the leather coral... Cheeky thing.

It's easily my family's favorite fish in the tank...great personality, beautiful and graceful swimming motion. I like the coloration of the African Midas Blenny a little more than the Maldives Midas Blenny...very similar, but slightly different hue. The Maldives seems more bright yellow while the African has more of an orangish-peach coloration.

Fang blennies -- any meiacanthus ... tonga, smiths, grammistes, forktail, kamohara, you name it.
Inquisitive as can be, out and about throughout the water column, and about as reef safe as you can get (some of the larger ones such as grammistes might be tempted by little anemone shrimp like sexies though).
Don't think I'll ever have a tank without one.
In fact, just added 3 smiths to my 65g yesterday and they immediately put a smile my face as they explored their new world.

My fav to look at are orange spot blennies, the two I’ve had were both very shy though. Personality wise either a starry or lawnmower, they are always happy to come over and say hi!

Starry blenny, had ours for almost three years. Like others have said, great personality, always happy to see you. Eats almost anything and occasionally picks at algae and rocks. Very peaceful. No experience with any other blennies.

I love my Tailspot blenny. Lots of personality and loves to sit and watch you. Great for algae control too. He's the only blenny I've had though.
