Dobie pads for algae and cleaning out skimmer cups and necks.

For lg tanks squeegee and wand, way better at having crystal clear glass than the aquarium glass cleaners.

Dosing pump, it makes it waaaay easier to consistently and accurately dose additives.

Spare bucket or basket to keep oddds and ends.

A golf towel clipped to my waist so that I can wipe my hands off and not drip all over the place

turkey baster, spare buckets and dedicated towels (so I do not get any coral juices anywhere else). Of course I would be lost without my extra tubing all over too.

A sharp pearing knife, screwdriver, tin snips, hammer and machete for fragging.

Sturdy ladder, epoxy on hand, towels in a reachable location (only remember to have one while taking arms out of tank) quality tweezers ...

I picked up a set of tweezers that are 24 inches. One of the best things to have on hand for grabbing out of the tank no wet hands or arms......

#1 a Quality ATO (tunze). #2) A quality RO/DI (BRS 6 Stage Universal). #3) A tank controller (yes I use my Neptune Apex for everything) #4) a Full suite of test kits (use every week). #5) A good salt mixing station (Use every 3 days). #6) A good magnet Algae (use about every 2 or 3 days). #7) A quality refractometer - Not a plastic swing arm (Use every 3 days or so).

Above are all things I tried to cheap out on in the beginning and regretted cheaping out....every single one of them I regretted trying to be cheap or do without.

Thx everyone, great info!!!

After this evening, I think a fish trap will be added to my list.
