What are your must have tools?

Lets see if I can list them all. SeaSquirt spot feeder, large grabber, long-smaller grabber, aqueon or python water changer, needle point tweezers, pipettes (various sizes), shot glasses, hemostats/forceps, tongs, super glue, reef epoxy, dog toothbrush. That is all I can think of right now.

-ladder
-scraper with long handle
-scraper with no handle.
-turkey Bastet
-magnavore
-long tongs
-bone cutters
-towels
-zip ties
-gravel vac
-lots of filter socks

These are just the things I use very often and keep under my tank. I have a whole closet full of stuff I don't use that often.

Most used. A tank depth piece of half inch clear rigid tubing. Great for pushing frags into position or flipping over on the sand bed, for directing food to a single specimen, for siphoning debris off the tank bottom, to capture a worm or other small creature.

Speaking of tubing.... at least 10 feet of air tubing and at least 10 feet of 1/2" tubing at all times.

Heres my favorite out of all my tools

Toast Tongs
Seems everyone loves tongs and these are made wooden obviously.
Also made in all kinds of sizes.
When you let them go they float to the top so not only useful in grabbing off bottom but in fragging. Get a smaller pair and have a rubber band wrapped around them. Attach open tong end to sps frag or what ever and use rubberband to secure on(tighten) then when you clip it it instantly floats to the top for retrieval instead of falling down down down into the abyss to be lost in the reef or eatin by an opened up hammer coral lol. Plus they dont rust.

Chipotle!

I swear, my most handy tool is my local Chipotle.

I use several a day, along with a small spray bottle of RODI, just to wipe the rimless edge, not to mention while testing, when there always seems to be a little drying or clean up to do.

I use the dickens out of my cheapo tongs from Pet-no as well.

I apologize for not reading through the entire thread, but a razor blade, a small flat head screw driver, some air line tubing and a brush. I probably have more lint in my pocket, but I'm not at the end of this beer right now. (burp alert!) ;)

my most recent item i use very often is just a fold able bar stool. i sit on it and stare at the tank. perfect height.
other than that, a stepping stool i use often when cleaning, a turkey baster, and i love my Julians Thing.

Wrist length gloves
epoxy
super glue
turkey baster
white vinegar
razor blades
newspaper (for cleaning glass)

I try to keep anything glass away from the aquarium/sump. For example, I use plastic containers during feeding. If glass hits glass then it will easily chip the corner of your expensive rimless aquarium/sump.

My long handled grabber, coral view glasses, and syringe with hard air tubing are always on top. Towel always in back. Baster, scraper and glue in cabinet.
Secondarily my plugs in sump and fragging kit in closet.

I personally pick one up at the Orlando Reef a Palooza from the R2R Booth.
