What are your MUST HAVES

Long plastic grabber tong thingies.. About 2 feet long, can reach bottom of tank without putting my hands (up to my armpits) in the tank.

I use mine multiple times a day to feed, turn over harassed snails, and pick up and move various things. The best thing is they are like $10 at petco!!

I recently purchased an Avast Marine spyglass, I am fluidizing Purigen in it. Very happy with it, and if I ever setup another tank, I would make these my goto media reactors. Very easy to maintain, regardless of the media used in it.

For me it's totally simple . My kessil's !!! I can clean algae, change water, adjust parameters but making light well, pretty tough lol . Would be stellar to utilize the natural sun but my setup is shunned to the basement . At least she lets me reef Love this site

A bit underrated, but extremely useful is my ADJ Rack Mounted Power Strip.

Tank maintenance and troubleshooting are so simple when I can just toggle a switch on & off, instead of constantly unplugging & replugging into outlets. Plus it looks cool and the mount creates a natural drip loop.

Like I said, not a sexy choice...but probably the one I'd miss the most.

One thing I will be looking into soon is an ATO, as going away for a few days means I have to overfill my sump in order to ensure it doesn't get too low. Then you have to turn off your skimmer.

side-mounted magnified coral viewer. I have the Portal by IVS and another one from other brand. Best thing to inspect your corals for pests and the likes.

I have 5 tanks and there is 3 things I can't do without. At least, I wouldn't want to. The first is a refractometer. The second is digital thermometers. Last but not least, digital pH meters. Requires calibration but are very accurate.

My credit card! ...

ahahah Good one!

I prefer cash... my wife always gets the credit card statements that come in the mail before me!

"how much did it cost that beautiful fish you just brought home?"

"10 dollars, I think"

Well, some local fish over here costs less than that!:D

Old tooth brush zip tied to a long piece of wood dowel so I can clean the silicone seams without really damaging them.

Great idea that I will be stealing!

Quality dosing pump and a quality controller... if not a full controller, at the VERY least, a heater controller.
