Acronyms. Yeah, I know. They're like ants, popping up everywhere, all the time, and they won't go away. But if you can't spend 3 seconds to type it out one time, then why should I be expected to spend 3 minutes trying to figure out what it is that you were too lazy to type out? Ok, I forgive some of them, at least the most common ones. But still...
"The GHA in my DT is all over my LR and SPS even though I QT'd everything I bought from my LFS. PM me PLS." Okay, I know what it means. It just reeks of laziness and self-importance.
People who say 'GHA' when they actually mean "unidentified greenish algae-like substance that I didn't bother trying to identify".
Shrooms. Acros. Palys. Zoas. Just type it out. It only takes an extra second out of your life. Better yet, take the time to learn the real name and use it instead. I know it's not as 'hip', but it will get you much better information or better understanding of your point.
