What Coral is Impossibe For You to Keep

Chalices and Acan for me... I lost most of my chalice and acan.. only 1 chalice is still left but it never grows! But the goniopora I have in there is going nuts with growth though

I may as well throw acropora echinata in there as well, deep water acros can be difficult as well.

SPS for me, mine like to fight with each other and bleach themselves, even after I have glued them to the rocks.... grr............

For me its from tank to tank, and i dont have the faintest clue why...its been driving me crazy for a year or so.

Office tank: I can keep anything, and grow it well...
Home takn: Only soft corals, but thats because its skimmerless/fugeless. But its mainly a fish tank anyways....
Frag tank: Z's and P's. Ive tried monti's to no avail, they slowly lose tissue and PE. <--stable params, pH varies less than .5 pts in a day, alk stays steady @ 3.0 meg/l, sg is steady, and temp is steady. I dont know whats going on in this tank :(

for me it's the bonsai garf type sps, had 2 they stayed brown and both died. everything else in my tank is doing ok.

sps for me. I think its because My systems setup for chalice with lots of feeding.
Also not sufficient light.

For some reason I can't keep the color to stay on any meteor shower cyphastrea I have tried. I have had other ones and had no problem.

Have you tried keeping them in the shade?

I tried the carnation type once and it melted after 3weeks. I'd love to keep a tank of them, the colors are amazing!!!!

i have several types of z's&p's and for some reason I cant keep nightmares for the life of me. everytime they melt away while everything else is doing great.
