Bishop, this is a cheap one. basically it is a wide angle lens with a soft fisheye, plus a macro ring. they are two pieces so I can use the macro ring as a magnifier screwed to the front of the lens. yes I know it is not the "IDEAL" way so please dont Flame me. jsut dont have the cashola to drop a couple hundos on a macro.

Indicentally, I have a 70-300 Lens that has a macro function on it, but getting that far in, I I cannot get enough light to get a decent shutter speed.

Ryan.. yea its also funny to see them with a live hermit squirming on their backs....

My urchin claimed his first prize last night. Hahaha

Was carrying this snail around. I can't believe how "sticky" the urchin is. Had to almost pry the snail away from it. So far the urchin has just stuck to the glass and hasn't got to the rocks yet. Can't imagine what it will do if it gets near my frags.

This is how mine started his reign of terror...

Yikes Jeremy. Fingers crossed, mine has be "OK" so far. Just picking up the occasional snail here and there. Mine mainly hangs out on the glass but this morning I seen it on the rocks and it's really doing a great job of eating algae. It left a perfect trail of where it was! A couple more weeks of it hanging out on the rocks and I might not be so worried about my rocks being covered in a thin layer of hair algae.

Ive heard that in the wild they pick up stuff to hide themselves from predators...which is why they like my frags and everything else it can carry so much. Its just a matter of time till they get comfortable in the tank and that instinct takes over...

LOL. I purposely keep junk laying around the tank for mine. Old acros, hunks of montipora. old crab and snail shells. mine currently has 3 shells, and 5 zoanthids at ($5 a head) on it along with a chunk of dried superglue from a frag he broke loose a while back.

Off the urchin topic. I got this little fella from pensfan.

Awesome coral! I saw that at the swap as well. Hope it does well for you.

Thanx. I like the urchin. I've been considering one but I'm s ared of the avalanche. Not all my rocks are glued down. Some are just stacked.

I really like the urchin as well. Sounds like mine is not so good at multitasking like the others that are commenting (thankfully). All my rocks are just stacked but all my corals are epoxied down. Time will tell. Hopefully I'm not playing Russian Roulette.

Heres some Zoas I got from Solar. I love the green morph on the one polyp.
To the left is a toadstool I also got in a trade.

Those are cool too. But I like the green morphed ones (I think is what they are). Appears to be one at the very bottom left of the photo and a few to the right of the photo.
