Depends on what you want to do. If you want to be a developer and work with the cloud, learn html, css and javascript. Watch some udemy courses or youtube videos. . GCP Certification, Azure or AWS. Your knowledge will grow from here.

I am a full stack developer and this supports my hobby.

Get a CCNA if you can. Better than either of those. I got Network+ and some crap web management Cert that got me in the door and now my experience is more useful than any cert. All about getting that initial foot in the door.

Not sure how many employers look for a Google cert, but get the A+ for sure. It's a good, solid foundation.

CCNA is more concentrated on the server side of things. So things like Remote Hosting operations and Server Admin stuff. Unless you're working for a large company there's a pretty blurry line between Help Desk and an entry level IT Technician position and chances are you'll be doing some of both.

I own a lawn maintenance/irrigation business. I'm also a regular at multiple plasma and sperm banks and I also work security at multiple convenience stores chasing tweakers away... Before that I was a Golf Course Superintendent for many years. I got my degree from Spangler U.

A fellow plasma donor. Coudos to you. I'm firing blanks these days so sperm banks are out of my reach. Is the Dayton, for Dayton, Ohio? Just curious, I live in Kettering. Back in the day I worked golf course maintenance, was the most fun I've had at a job.

It’s not the most glamorous job in the world but it supports my family and I while at the same time being able to keep a reef tank, a modest low tech one at that. I guess that’s why I chose to call myself the frugal reefer.

Lately I have found a way to start being grateful I am not the Boss anymore. Mostly because I have been lucky enough not to be the driver who broke the truck, just the guy who gets to fix them on what would otherwise be a Rain Day with no pay. Or just a day with No Pay if I owned the truck.

I respectfully disagree. Because I know from 15+ years of experience in the industry that specialization in one area beats general knowledge in multiple areas any day of the week. But respect your opinion
