What do you feed?

Light and whatever bits of shrimp juice make it into the water column from the frozen food. I do strain it first though. IMO anything else is unlikely to get to the actual SPS and will either add to the bioload or get skimmed out.

Yeah I've been relying on fish poo, too, but slower growth rates than all of my other club members has me thinking it's not enough.

I throw in some oyster feast every once in a while, same with the phyto food stuff from brightwells.
I feed my LPS every once in a while. They get a mix of mysis, rotifers, flake, and pellet.

I see nothing in that food except cyclopeeze that the corals can utilize. Seems to be more of a fish food.

I was looking at the Reef Nutrition stuff but it seems pricey. Was checking out the Arcti Pods and Oyster Feast. At $40/bottle, how long does this stuff last?

Cyclopeez, oyster feast, rods food are all great for SPS. Phyto probably isn't big enough unfortunately

Artemia is probably what your looking for then. Since it sounds like your looking for mainly sps food. I'll have to find if I have a link to it.
I have planned on buying it, but haven't done it since I have enough oyster feast for a while.
The $40 bottle of Oyster feast I picked up from BRK has lasted me ~ 6 months now, and I still have a half a bottle left. There are millions of oyster eggs in it, so it only takes a few drops. I still feed a capful probably.

I sometimes get Rogers original which is complete reef and fish and then get the coral blend also to feed at night just for the corals. The coral blend has golden pearls, rotis and a ton of other stuff.

I feed my fish and LPS a mixture of mysis, brine, oyster-feast, arcti-pods, selcon, and garlic xtreme. The meat goes to the fish and corals, the remaining juice to the SPS.

What about dry food, anyone using it? I dont feed often but I have always made my own dry food.

other then Reef Nutrition, I feed a mix of Formula 1&2 flakes, new life Spectrum pellets soaked in selcon, Garlic extreme and Boyds Vita-chem.. and PE Mysis Monday(1cube) every other Monday..

Oysterfeast is about the best stuff you can get.I done a little experiment using it where I used it dailey for 4 months then stopped. The colors on my stuff suffured quite a bit,I started using it again and here came that "POP" back I was used to.All in all over 9 years of reefing I think reef nutrition products, specificly oyster feast is about the best coral food you can get for coloration and health.Yeah its pricey, but what quality stuff isn't?The old saying goes you get what you pay for! Oh yeah and at 5-10 ml per 100 gl's it lasts quite awhile, so how much is it really once you break it down?Just my 2 cents though.
