What do you think about Radion XR30 ?

I guess I should have put that I’m currently with Ai Hydra . Has anyone noticed differences?

i went from ai hydra 52 hd to xr30blue g5
huge difference
one is the spread
the new radions don’t need a diffuser
with the ai i had a hot spot in the center
i hate the ai customer service
now my sps are growing pretty good
and i’m super happy with the colors

Blues are beautiful , I don’t understand the hype for pro , it’s literally just a whiter light !!!

Controller issue? Never had a prob with the app , but yeah I like them just don’t wanna spend more , and idk why people want the pro , they want the white look? They still run ab+ on the pro , the blue is nice because it has more blue leds so it won’t look as white and you still can do ab+ i don’t understand most people want “controllability” but still do ab+ on both blue and pro just pro is a whiter light.

My controller issue was in respect NooPsyche. I liked the radion's controller.

Some of us like seeing the colors in our tanks. The blues make clownfish look black and white. Anything that isn’t fluorescent might as well not exist

I have 2 xr30 gen 4 and love those, also have 3 orphek atlantiks and love those, radions have a way better app than orphek for sure, orphek has some amazing coloration in my experience and upgradability (not sure if that's a word?). Depends what your budget is. They are great lights, only real flaw I see is water damage. I had a xr15 short the board from me dropping a coral in and water hitting the lense. All in all great lights though. If price doesn't bother you then I'd run them any day

It's no hype, the Pro has more flexibility colorwise. The Blue is only the better choice if you want/need the light running close to 100% power with the AB+ spectrum, it will output more par then the Pro then.
People who run their light at let's say 50-80% will have more color options with the Pro. You can run it as blue as the Blue then or as white as a 10K mh bulb and everything in between.

I just got a G5, and being spoiled by the perfect color blending of a Kessil, i'll definetely need a diffuser on the G5. The pixelization without a diffuser hurts my eyes. Other then that it's a great light.

I think the best ones made are the G4's.
