For me its balancing Alk. Doesn't matter how many times I test and how random I test... trying to keep a constant level of Alk the most painstaking thing for me.

if I had hair algae and a 400-gallon tank I would just break it down and donate everything to my friends here on reef2reef, that's what I would do....heee
