JB Waterweld for me. I've used probably 20 sticks of it over the years. It is readily available at HD/Lowes/etc, reasonably priced especially when compared to anything that says "reef" or "marine" and quickly encrusts with coralline so it becomes invisible in short order. 8277 that one ? Got a exact link and how does it do when wet rocks

I just spend extra time finding out how to lock the rocks in place securely while minimizing sand bed contact to prevent dead spots.

. if and when I can’t figure it out or don’t feel the rock is stable enough I grab the superglue.. it doesn’t have a super high strength of hold in a reef tank over time so if you want to change something later it’s easy enough..

It’s 100% reef safe

It holds enough wo making anything permenante as it would be outside of water.

Is much more discreet then appoxys even the colored ones.

If it’s a large rock with bad balance I will dowl it with acrylic rod. Outside that I mostly just use glue to place corals and once in a while that odd rock that I want in that one spot and just don’t feel it’s stable on its own.. but I also run 2-3” sand beds so have a little cushion should something fail down the road but never has.
