What does your RODI setup look like?

Here is my setup. The red line is pre D/I and I use that for household drinking water. Blue line is going to the Brute and it has a float valve in it to always keep it full of RO/DI water.

I'm really thinking of running my waste line outdoors to the flower bed rather than wasting it. Looks like I'll need another 100 ft of 1/4" tubing...

That's what I did.

wow those all look great. cant wait to buy my own house. mines pretty ghetto but does the trick with very lil effort from me.
tank is right next to the unit. run a cord from the bathroom to the unit and the waste line to the sink. i usually fill the white 55g drum with rodi water and then when it get to about 25g left i make saltwater. do a wc rinse the drum and repeat again. about every 2 weeks.

2 55 gallon drums. I one for salt one for Rodi and ato. Bottom feed pump for water changes and moving Rodi to mixing barrel. Pump is used to mix salt. Brs 75 gpd 6 stage Rodi tapped to cold water with drain waster to sump which than gets pumped to back yard.

Thanks everyone for the ideas, it helped me alot coming up with what I want to do. Here is what I plan on doing with a setup once I get there. I used my expensive program to design it called "paint". If anyone has any suggestions let me know.

Looks like a nice setup. I saw at HD that they now offer 44 gallon Brute cans as well as 32 gallon...

Might consider putting a T and a valve in case you just need to get Rodi

Yup. Agree with deboy69. Put a valve where the reservoir drains to the mixing station. You'll want to get to the RO/DI water from time to time. That's why I have 3 containers altogether. One is for RO/DI from the unit, one is for RO/DI water alone (it's got a 1/4 line going directly to my sump for top off), and the other one is for salt mix.

great design, but yeah, you will need Fresh RODI for top off, so add a T fitting and a ball valve.

O and I'm a big proponent of unions just in case you have to disconnect the top or bottom barrel to clean them. Easier and less pipe to hit the walls or doors

Yes use a T to split the RO/DI. That's how I have mine. Also if you use aquariums. It will be easy to clean.

Im completely fine with using the brute can but I read somewhere that some people have had issues with those cans. Something about there is some kind of film in the cans, maybe a antibacterial of somekind. Anyone have issues ever? I might try to get a few of the 55 gal water safe barrels

I will say that the standard 32 gal Brute Cans you find at Lowes and HD, are not labeled as food safe plastic. I use them, but have always been wary of them. And clean them with bleach on occasion. I would use something different but space issues are the real concern for me.
