Well i hope so, I am working hard and putting many, many years of mistakes, and ideas to try to perfect this system.

Sent 21 frags home to Charleston,SC with my nefew today, plus several corals from AM Jake hookedus up with, spot feed my Dendros today still trying to coox out the duncans looking at this thread

Built my first frag rack after getting some crags from Rob. Rodney I still need to come get some Zoas from you. I just finished training at my new job so now my schedule will stabalize a bit.

Made my own Top off system for my 90 gal. Cleaned glass on tanks, and continued being frustrated my 90 won’t cycle as fast I wish.

My Bubble Blaster 2000 just arrived and now I find out that an adapter is needed to upgrade my NWB 150 Skimmer. I just ordered the adapter from Coralvue and it will be here some time next week.

Are you sure you can't make one with a tapered piece of PVC? Do you have the correct union?

I'm not sure about the PVC, I'm not much of an engineer ;)

The factory union on the skimmer body is welded on. I assume the adaptor they are sending is some type of tapered fitting because the union fitting on the bubble blaster is larger in diameter.

If your offering to come by and help me engineer a fitting this weekend I GLADLY accept. ;).

I think I owe you a visit to come by and pick up something you're holding for me. I'll certainly have a look and maybe we can hook you up.

Just got back from Sluffs,he fraged me a miny colony of blue zoas on a piece of flat reef rock so I could plug the hole in the zoa garden, that the old file fish ate,fit in their great they have all opened up and look good.Cooxed a couple of the Dendros out today by target feeding them, there going to look good when they get act together and all open.Tank looks good I think I'll just relax and stare awhile.

I've noticed recently that I'm having trouble finding real estate to mount anything new to. I think I figured out a solution. I just added about 50 lbs of rock to my 120. Solved.

Added a couple of SPS frags and promptly lost one when a snail dislodged it. Guess I have to tear things apart tomorrow to remedy that.

Cleaned the hair algae off my clam and built a shelf for my reactor to sit on. And now mixing water for a water change tomorrow

Today I left my tank alone... this addiction is hard.. I think I have withdrawal pains for not doing anything to it all day except for the feed process.

However, I'm in luck because tomorrow I do a water change.

.. the first WC in 6 weeks. (don't get too excited, I'm studying methods to improve tank stability and stretching my change water times is my validation control method). I will see if this water change causes a larger than expected positive effect on life forms, if not I'm next going to try for 8 weeks. This water change will give me a chance to see if my opinion of my life forms appearing healthy is real or if the lack of changes is holding them back any.

I'm a "professional", don't try this at home, in your reef tank. Do your water changes.

I am NOT a professional ..LOL. not even!

EDIT: I did the WC and can detect nothing to indicate I needed to do one. Will be watching for any signs.
