Are the YTs new or have they been at the shop awhile?
I believe they are relatively new.

The temperature swing could have occurred during transport from the wholesaler. This time of year they use cooling packs, and it's possible his bag was right up against one and that dropped the temp more so than any of the other fish. Just a theory, of course, but it would explain why he is showing signs of gas bubble disease even though none of the other fish are.
Im still wondering though - if that was all gas - would he not have a hard time not floating?
True, the fish should at the very least be swimming erratically.

You can just see them in this video on the dorsal. This is extremely mild compared to the OP's picture of course, but it's what I was reminded of looking at that picture. Remember this?True, the fish should at the very least be swimming erratically.
