Has anyone else had any issues getting in contact with Liveaquaria? I ordered some stuff from them 2 weeks ago, and everything was delivered, but I had some DOAs, and I submitted a claim via there site. I haven't received any emails from them about the claims, and I have been calling for the past week and no one answers. I sit on hold (all representatives are busy) for 15 minutes and after 15 minutes it transfers me to leave a message for a call back. Did they go out of business?

All I can say is: “ I know”
We’re not allowed per rules to discuss vendors with a dissatisfied customer but are aware of various issues
They USED TO BE MY SOURCE for All my needs

I saw a notice on their website at checkout that they're short staffed and dealing with increased holiday volume rn. FWIW

I swear I called like 4 times over the last few weeks for DOA and it is the same lady on the customer service line every time. Poor lady must be dealing with a crap ton of calls all day.

They haven't been sending their diver den emails since 12/3. They did send a preview on 12/6 but never actually went live with them.

Out of curiosity, can a vendor lose R2R sponsorship if deemed harmful to the hobby/community? Is there a vetting process to become a sponsor?
The check cashing or bouncing.

I will say I placed a $200 order for clean up crew this week. I got no notice they shipped so I called the day they were suppose to arrive to cancel. I got ahold of someone quickly and they said the order did ship and emailed me the tracking. To my surprise the order showed up, bags still warm and all the inverts were alive which is rare for a large cuc order anywhere ime. So despite it all it was pretty positive which I didn’t expect.

They are probably short staffed and are slow to respond. Like so many other places right now.
I know it sucks.

First time ordering from them on Black Friday. My package shipped but tracking didn’t work, emailed and no responds until 5 days later but I had already called 2 days after I sent the email and they resolved my issue with the correct tracking. It’s busy holiday and most places are short staffed so it’s understandable in the slow response. the stuff I ordered weren’t livestock so I wasn’t too worried. I signed up for their emails and never received any.

I have gotten three fish from them over the last 2 weeks. Fish arrived on time and looked great. First hour into QT eating and swimming around. So far so good with them other than the fact I never got my tee shirt for my purple tang lol.

You and I are in the same boat. I'm waiting on confirmation of the DOA's that I submitted almost a week ago. They are only hurting themselves in that I'm not going to buy anything from them again until I get my "store credit." In the meantime, they send me almost daily marketing emails. I thought they were the top dog; boy was I wrong.

They took over a week to get back to me on a issue I had with a coral not being as described.
I'm done with them too.
I can't believe the cheap shipping bags they use instead of insul boxes

Heat pack fried. This was in a 6x12x8 box. Thanks LA.
Good help is in short supply there I guess.

UPDATE*

I finally got through to someone on their phone line. She said that they are backed up really bad with their work load. She did confirm my DOA claims and told me to hang tight. I know a lot people give Liveaquaria a bad name, but I have never had any issues with them, or their customer service.

Short staffed. But I order only from their Divers Den. I purchased 2 pairs of really expensive bali aqua rich clowns. Get an email that the order has been canceled as the animals all died. If they went through their long QT not sure how they died but ok no problem. But it happened again maybe a year before, same thing. Ordered two pairs and all fish ”died” overnight.
