Sounds like a decent plan, atleast with the 6 stages you can easily switch over to a multiple DI stage situation which should also help with your TDS. If you decide to upgrade the membrane I do suggest going with a Spectrapure Plus membrane. Arguably the best one on the market and ideal for your high TDS, I love mine and I'm actually really curious how well it performs with 500+ TDS. It gets my 240+ TDS down somewhere between 0-1.

Thanks for all the responses and tips man. I'm pretty new but that filter isn't as bad price as I was expecting. Probably because the few things I need is 5x as expensive so that seems like pocket change Haha. Do I just get the same GPD as the system I'm buying?

dang i was just asking what system i should get today between the 5 or 6 because i have chloramine and roughly 500 TDS. Guess ill be getting the 6 and plenty of filters lol

His post is a little misleading. Any system with DI is going to give you 0 tds until the DI is exhausted. We really need his TDS number before DI. I have a spectrapure and my TDS is around 450 and I get TDS of 2 before my DI.

What do you mean? Membrane wise? RODI systems are rated size wise by the membrane they have inside them. ).

Ok so i got the RODI, and hooked it up to my faucet outside and it has about 45psi. i know recommended is 50+ but im omly getting waste water. it has some switch on the top that when i turn it on and off fluctuates the psi to even lower. Are the DI resin containers filling up slowly because of such low water pressure? here is how its connected minus the faucet

And DI canisters and all other canisters may or may not fill up as the air can get trapped on the outside of the filters. No harm in it atall.

If you disconnect the blue tube from there is there any water coming out from the membrane atall??

It barely comes out. I think my membrane might be shot because the water comes out very slow and line 2 which is the line directly after the membrane is reading about 65tds. I disconnected all my hoses and get good flow up until the line you asked about
