What is the fastest growing Acropora?

BC rainbow Brite is zooming. I never had a green slimer so can't compare but it's going to outgrow all the other acros I have at this rate.

Cliffs acro is pretty fast too.

For me, it's crayola stag and green slimer. BUT... it really depends on how big the coral is. A small piece grows painfully slow. Gotta wait for it to get happy and sprout new branches. The larger it gets the faster it grows.

In my tank PC Rainbow is like a weed. Just grows for the fun of it.

This has grown from a less than 1/4” accidental tip frag in 6 months. I’d say PC rainbow is my fastest grower, followed by red planet, wwc yellow tip and Laura’s purple Acro..

Green slimer for me. I had to use a hammer and chisel to remove 2 years worth of growth yesterday from my DT. I had it in two sections. After the job was over, o was happy, the tank looks a ton better, but I wish I had my wife video the effort to “chisel it back”.

I must have thrown out a couple of pounds of green slimer frags over the past two days.

Out of all my acros, green slimer has been the slowest. But i'm sure its tank conditions that dictates this... My slimer has also had competition with green pocillopora nearby which is probably a big reason why, i just always hope it would pop a branch and just take off away from its competition.

These are the 4 I've had for a few months now to really see the growth difference. I was going to get a couple more acros today but saw a real nice blue squamosa clam and couldn't resist.

Man lucky you, this is one I want to have in my tank but can’t find locally to save my life. A beauty too. But does it really compare to green and purple skimmer growth?
