well the Candy Basslet I want is around $900 so I guess I'll settle for a swissguard instead

Before I would not spend more than 200 to 300 but I just got a Koi tang and I won't even say how much I paid for it :cry: :nerd:

I'm right there with you! I've seen a few of the Candy Basslets in person and really love them, but just can't pull the trigger on a small fish that likes to hide for $900+, so I'm getting the Swissguard instead too.

I'd love a Gem Tang too, but would be thrown out of the house by the hubby for that one! I'd have to say my most expensive fish have been my rhomboid wrasse pair ... specifically the male!

great choice Sara!!! the swissguard is beautiful enough and a heck of a lot cheaper

hmm i dont think i ever bought a fish over 75 to 100.00. i guess i am cheap and like the average joe fish. i have bought many above that mark for my customers... they love those paired japanesse angels, crazy tanks and wrasses.. all of those end up spendy. i guess my fish are just workhorses presently.-)
