It’s a hammer coral Ik haha, but if u look at the stem there’s a little like transparent kinda pink thing coming out of it any ideas of if I should do something abt it? Thanks

Is it like a hard shell?
Does it move at all or has it always been in that spot?
Possibly a vermetid snail...

IDK about the pink thing. Looks like you have some bubble algae on the plug that came along too.

Hasn’t moved, although I just added this coral yesterday, but hasn’t moved and when I feed the tank it produces like a long web looking thing to catch food

Dip just the plug into 3% hydrogen peroxide solution for 2 minuets. Scrub with a toothbrush (preferably a roommate or siblings) and dip the plug back in the hydrogen peroxide for another 2 minutes. Should take care of it. The plug will bubble up for a little bit when you put it back in the tank which is normal.

can you double check this? I may just be missing something obvious but I only see some green film algae with trapped air bubbles and not bubble algae.

For the pink thing it is very hard to see in the pic but looks like it could be one of those small buds that euphyllia put out sometimes or maybe those hard pink spikes that sometimes grow on the underside of live rock and corals. Dont know the name of them though

As EeyoreIsMySpiritAnimal said, if it's sending out a web, it's almost certainly a vermetid snail.

I can only work with what I am provided. I see bubble algae. Perhaps I am wrong and it is another type of algae. Either way the hydrogen peroxide treatment should take care of the algae.

Is it in a ball shape? Have you just noticed it? If you could take another white light pic and zoom in a bit it might help. Can you rotate frag to get a str8 on pic? If it’s attached and pinkish/red it could be a ball anemone….

Didnt mean anything bad by it and the pictures arent super clear either from op so i genuinely dont know if I maybe was missing something.
Either way h2o2 dip wont hurt the coral at all and will help if there is any pest algae so it is a good recommendation. Just didnt want to scare the op thinking there may be bubble algae if it wasnt

lol it is to me. I absolutely hate bubble algae with a passion as it is very annoying to get rid of. I like to thank aquasd for my current bubble algae and aiptasia outbreaks. I scrubbed and dipped in multiple solutions and even super glued over most of the bottom portions of frag plugs but they snuck by. Now every frag in my tank (unless I know it is from an actual trusted source and i only really trust 3 companies tbh), gets fully taken off of frag plugs, dipped in 3-4 solutions (coralrx, bayers, H2O2, and iodine depending on coral type) and completely smothered in super glue up to the actual coral flesh. Pain in the a.ss but gets the job done
