What is this algae?

This is exactly what I think is happening with mine. I tried to brush it off and siphon it out before I did my water change and by the next day you couldn’t even tell that I cleaned any out. I hope it doesn’t smother out any of my zoas and I have been trying to keep them clean by blowing it off around them but at this rate I may have to hire someone to constantly blow it off every hour.

I did not have it harm my gorgorians, mind you i also feel more comfortable removing clump that get in them then a zoa [emoji23] a turkey baster can help if the clumps go onto a coral.

I get the stuff free floating with power heads and catch it in my large fish net. I can't tell if its getting better yet. But now that I have clear spots where the powerheads are pointing, my lawnmower "stache" is eating the GHA under the calothrix.
