I have had this “snail” that my old LFS sold me they said it’s a nassarius snail but he is way bigger than all of my other nassarius snails he has also started to attack my other inverts at night like smaller snails and hermits if someone could identify this snail for me it would be a big help thanks

I do not know many snails, but maybe an olive snail. I think they are predatory and I would get it out. Especially if you are seeing it go after other cuc.

Yes need a clear picture.

That is a Lettered Olive Shell. They are predators, but depending on what you have in your tank, they are pretty cool to watch. Throw a piece of dead shrimp in the tank and it will come running (if it had legs!)

Turn off the blue light and take a pic with only whites on.
I tried and he just went back under the sand bed normally don’t see him during the day only when the light are on all blue

Okay I’ll wait until he pops back out and snag another pic thanks for all the help
Just did a quick search on YT and yup that is definitely it do you think I should remove him I have a 13.5 nano reef
1 clown
1 yellow watchmen
About 5 nassarius snail
10 red hemits and a few other snails

It is not a cone snail. And a good thing it is not, they can be dangerous.

Lettered Olive shell, Oliva sayana .

Just take him back.
