What is this critter?

Salty, no worries. I have learned the hard way to qt. All fish are in a separate 40 with copper for ich, got lucky for awhile, but last fish added, royal gramma brought it in. I did dip all these, but may have got in a hurry as I had never dipped before and only gave about 3-5 minutes in revive. Planning to set up a coral/invert qt, as I never want to tear apart my whole display to catch the fish again, took hours to get the rock back the way it was. I did go ahead and buy coral Rx and will get some Bayer next time I get to a big box home improvement store.
Is there any truth to peppermint shrimp? Been looking to add shrimp and if they could be beneficial I would have no problem going that direction. I had a six line wrasse in there and I'm almost positive he was keeping all these critters in check. Unfortunately I wasn't 100% ready to move fish and didn't have a lid for the tank, I think he jumped for it. Haven't seen him since the morning of day 2, which was over a week ago. I plan to add another as I really like them, but will add that and a new royal gramma together, after qt and copper, so will be awhile.
On a side note, I had seen this nudi for about a month or better in a frag, but with the coloring thought it was hitchhiker star polyps until it moved. The weird thing is it wasn't even close to the frag that melted, which was doing great and sprouting new polyps like crazy. I have no idea. Sorry for the long rant, just have no idea. Thanks for the help, without you I would have left that darn nudi in the tank!

no worries. no idea on the shrimp. they're jerks, and eat anything else. Itlls take a little time but youll get em. I did the peroxide and revive as its much less scary to me to drop back in the tank.
I have a lot of bug eaters so i need the pods.

Since I am going fallow I haven't fed the tank for a week, except the nem I'm nursing back from near death. Also trying to kill off the green hair algae that made it through the dip and then exploded, most likely due to my overfeeding the new fish that wasn't eating well. The hermits and bumble bee snails have been on this frag and the other non stop, maybe hunger will get them to help me out, if I'm lucky

Lights are out, but ordered them from liveaquaria, before knowing they aren't the best thing to add. Tried to cancel them, but they had already processed the order. Look just like the pic on their website. Small about 3/8" and black w/ yellow strips. I read they go in the sand and eat everything, but th ones I have are always on the rock. Maybe a bad sign?

They're just eating little critters on the rock. I've always kept a couple because they are cool, yet they're a whelk and won't help with algae. I just wanted to make sure you knew they were more or less adding to your bioload than your clean up crew. :-)

Yep, like I said I tried to cancel them and get some more astrea's. Even my naserius, I'm sure I spelled it wrong, have been out of the sand and on the glass a lot lately. Maybe I should feed the tank? Really just trying to starve out the algae. I'm going to cut back my light schedule. It was on a lot, now that I'm through another busy season at work should be able to fed more timely. Lights were on from 6 am till 8:30 pm just so I could feed 2x daily. Also planning, scheming to add a sump with refugium in the next few months. Trying to piece together all the components at a reasonable price. Might have set myself back a little between salt and random supplies and then a stellar deal at brs on their ro/di units I spent a couple hundred I want planning to, haha ohh well. Hoping to build my own sump and find some equip used.

@ lionfish lair. Attaching a pic, there was another bumblebee on there too that fell off when I picked it up. This is the frag the nudibranch came in on and resided for months before moving. Any ideas as to why the are all on it all of a sudden? It's pretty much every bumblebee in the tank.

maybe the babies hatched.

There could be all sorts of microfauna on there that they are attracted to. I'm not sure what they'll eat in regards to nudi eggs/nudi babies. That's definitely bumble bee snails though. They are certainly a pretty snail.

I hope that are eating the nudi's. I haven't been able to find any eggs yet, planning to dip again when I get back from a conference next week. What a bummer, wanted to add more to the tank, but will have to wait for awhile
