What is this growing algae cyano stuff

based on this here is something to read for you.




Finally this is what I would do;
1. Increase nitrate to 10-20ppm and keep it there
2. Set up a rightly sized UV plumed display to display (Dino tread has the sizing)
3. Do manual removal don’t disturb sand just siphon top
4. Add filter floss to high flow areas and clean it at the end of light peak
5. Add competition in any way possible way. (Mud, new live rock)
6. Be patient this is a slow process (tell wife / girlfriend this is for their benefit;) )

Today I have taken some pics of my last patch of brown dasting on the corner of my tank. Thought it might help you in ID. You can see small and large cell amphi in the pics
