I dont have a way to inject it, can I wait till tomorrow? Or is it to much risk?

Peppermint shrimp will eat aptasia. Mine took care of it.i understand they can be hit or miss

If it’s a mushroom it you may have a hard time getting to attach to the rock you have the plug on. They tend to float all over the tank.

It is a mushroom, I used the boiling water method with a small blaster. Yes, i have more (frags) but did not see anything on them, when i got here i saw the aptasia on the shroom plug

Mushrooms are extremely difficult to get to reattach where you want them I would leave it alone. The zoas I’m not sure about.thats one nice looking mushroom.

Haha thanks, the mushroom was not on my list actually. I bought a pack of 4 different zoa frags, for $40, plus a pair of Snowflake Clonws. he just told me " you know what, Im going to give you this mushroom and tell me how it goes"

I agree with DSC.

Not worth the headache it will cause later on if the evil thing spreads.

In the past I have detached mushrooms and left in a small container with rubble in a low flow area of the tank. The shroom should eventually reattach to the new substrate on its own.
