Not worth the headache it will cause later on if the evil thing spreads.

In the past I have detached mushrooms and left in a small container with rubble in a low flow area of the tank. The shroom should eventually reattach to the new substrate on its own.

How should I detache it?

Yes, take the rock/coral out of the tank and use the syringe to kill it.

Other option will be doing the same using super glue.

The mushroom is easily cut off. Toss the plug, no aptasia. I've dealt with aptasia for many years. Trust me when I say don't create a future headache. I only recommend injecting kalk paste on the aptasia if the rock can't be removed. Your situation is extremely easy to deal with and I would remove the mushroom and toss the plug.

But how should I make the cut? just pull it of? Cut from the base where is glued?

I use a razor blade and cut close to the plug. You can try to re-glue the mushroom but the slime will make it a challenge but can be done. A basket filled with rubble will be easier as you let the mushroom attach to where it wants.

Can I use the plug again if I boil it with RO water to kill everything of? Or is it still a risk?

You can easily scrape the aptasia off as well. I wouldn't boil it. Just do it outside of the tank and make sure you get every little piece off. If you don't want to frag the mushroom then scrape the aptasia off then hit it with a toothbrush and rinse in separate tank water before putting back in the tank.

Peppermint shrimp are what cleaned mine up - I put two in my 29 Gallon and the aiptasia didn't last very long at all but I was constantly worried something got missed and it would pop back up. The shrimp ended up dying [one jumped out, one got eaten by the crab] and hadn't seen any more aiptasia in over a year.

I have a cleaner shrimp, will they get along? The tank is a 20high btw.
