Harmless clean up crew members. You will see their little legs sticking out of the rockwork sometimes.

Lol I don’t dip unfortunately I drop haha
All seriousness I trust this lfs
Got acropora? Torches? Hammer/frogspawn coral?

I ask because, flatworms can become a battle. But acro eating bugs are a much different story. Most dips wont even phase them.

Im not here to throw stones by any means, but judging by the amount of hair algae, the brittle star and the what looks like vermetid snail on that plug, I would absolutely dip anything from there.

I don’t disagree the good news is the hair algae will be gone by nightfall by my hermits and if there is vermetid snails on the frag it’s just joining the rest in my tank lol

Would be wise to dip. It’s not so much about trusting your LFS. It’s crucial to realize that your LFS is merely a collection and transit point for corals. These corals come from all over, customer trade ins, local hobbyist farmers, commerical farmers, international suppliers, wild collected, you get my point. There is simply no way for any LFS to sort, QT, and eliminate all pests on corals. If you crash a several thousand dollar tank and go to your LFS and complain saying that you trusted them, they will likely not be able to do anything but shrug their shoulders.

Could you Look at my last post at the bottom and tell me if I should take it out and dip

If you haven’t dipped it yet, I would do so. Seachem reef dip or reviveX or red sea DipX are dips I have used before and trust. Also, for the thing growing inside the branch of the last pic it could be a new polyp growing or a vermetid snail. It’s hard to ID from the picture and its current size. If you see slime strings coming from the opening from time to time it’s likely a vermetid snail. If it’s a vermetid snail take a pushpin or similar and dab some glue on and into the opening of its hole. It will have a lid that covers the hole, you can puncture this with your pushpin to get more glue into the snail tube. Problem solved! Hope that helps!
