Hard for me to tell from the picture, but perhaps a shedded exoskeleton of a hermit crab leg?

There are many of them in my tank and lately something is killing my chalices. Two black eyes, skinny, translucent body
 
It does look very much like a mysid shrimp, and those guys can be predatory - even cannibalistic - but to my knowledge, they don't feed on coral. Rather, they feed on 'pods and other small motile critters.

ok, thanks. I am starting to see more chunks out of some of my sps. I am going to pull a few today and have another look.

I did add a long spine urchin to the tank, could he be the culprit? I don't see him near the corals.

do you guys see any problems here, the underside on one chalice
 
Not sure why I am having such trouble with pics. These are the only things found after removing and dipping a couple of corals, this is the damage to my hollywood stunner. Alk is 8, calcium 460, salinity 1.026, as usual, the only change was adding a coral and sea urchin but I don't see urchin anywhere near coral
