I just tested mag yesterday, I normally do no test but its approx 1250 a bit low but I don't think enough to cause this. I have seen stn before and this looks different, some sps have tips dying while others have chunks out of the bottom.

Vermetid snails can be annoying when you aquascape as they are sharp!

All of my chalice and now most of my sps have died or are dying, I can't even look at my tank anymore. I have been doing this along time and have lost coral in the past but not without an explanation. I have pulled and dipped and looked with a magnifying glass and no bugs. I watched the urchin with a flashlight a couple of nights and its not him. I feel sick.

What else is in the tank and what kinds of sps are dying? Any leathers or things that can put toxins in the water?

One leather but I have been running carbon and the tank is 1000g so I'm not sure one leather could do alot of damage, thanks for trying to help. This started with chalice's receeding, then patches of white on acro's, now acans withering away. Today I fragged whats left and moved to another tank. I left Elegance corals in display which still look happy. I also drove to USA to buy Bayer Advanced. I have lost most sps.

Sorry to hear of your troubles....any chance of outside contamination like aerosols or scented candles/air fresheners??
