@fishywishy they are undesirable, yes. Eeyore being Eeyore is letting you know that you can Google that to compare photos of the type of flatworm, but regardless get it out of there.
IF that's a flatworm, then it's likely NOT a coral eating type. Depending on what the OP has in their tank, it might just be a snack.
With the blurry pictures I'm not convinced it's a fw though.

BTW, @Kasrift , I spend as much time as many others here do providing detailed responses to higher level questions, and I resent the "Eeyore being Eeyore" comment!
The basics are just that and if I feel like letting someone know they're basically asking others to do their homework, then yep, gonna do it. But to imply that I always respond that way is insulting.

Sincere apologies, I didn't mean any offense. I agree with you 99% of the time and have even spent time defending you on other threads.

Truly thought you being snarky wouldn't have minded a slightly snarky response. By no means am I trying to be rude or attack you, literally the last thing I'm trying to do is pick fights on a forum.

A reefing forum now telling people to google.... I mean... I could google "how to pick my nose" but a creature I'm unsure of? Google what is brown and weird plus kind of flat?

I get it... these posts happen as mych as typos do. I am beginning to loathe this place.

@fishywishy Could be a flatworm. Use a turkey baster to suction up the creature. Flatworms float around like a piece of fabric. Isopod wont change shape really, and are segmented.

Its acoel flatworm also called Ghost flatworms. While they are not harmful as red planaria, they in numbers can smother bases of coral and block the needed light for production of zooxanthellae which is their energy source.
Removal can be accomplished by siphoning them with a 3/8" tubing into a nylon stocking and discard
OR
Add a wrasse such as Yellow coris, 6 line, lunare or malanurus OR even a springieri damsel which will eat them

With the number you have, for the next 2 weeks you will have to look for eggs and scrape off as there is likely some and would be future acoels. Eggs are really tiny

Not exactly... Once someone tells you the brown, weird, kind of flat thing might be a flatworm, then you can take that and investigate the question
Are flatworms bad?

Very Very tiny and wrasse likelu wont eat them and dips dont work on them either. They have to be scraped off.
they usually lay them under or on coral
