What Is Your Cursed Coral

Seems like we all have 1 or 2..or 3....if there is many more than that on the list its not just your tank but the water too.lol - rofl

But ya what is that 1 coral that you have tried over and over and everytime it ends the same - you still dont have that coral. And another one bites the dust.

could be a certain zoa or sps or whatev's. So what is your cursed coral you can't seem to keep.?.

Hawkins would have to be mine I think despite the fact for the 1st year with my tank I rocked a small colony but after running into problems with it I have had no success with it since.

A. spathulata....have given up on this one. Other acros, monti's, even goniopora do well but can't keep a spathulata for squat.

Electric Oompa Loompas, they hate me and melt immediately. I've got hundreds of zoas and palys, but I can't keep them.

Haha I have a start of these(love a solid - bad apple pattern - multi color zoa-most classics) They have been so so with where I put them with others happy as heck as neighbors. Been putting it off for days on moving them where I know they'll do better and was supposed to do it tonight but i won a bottle of tequila at work so wasn't going to happen until now - Thanks josh you probably saved "my" clementines. wahn wahn.rofl..lol Getting to moving pronto.

They do great for me.

I'll usually try at least a couple times, buying from different sources. I've tried four times with the Oompa Loompas. I'm done trying with them.

My problem is not so much losing a piece time and time again. My problem is actually finding the piece. The RR Avengers is my unicorn, a few times I think I finally got it and they turn up duds. But I might have finally found it

If it is Zoanthids in general that are all dying maybe you are getting Zoanthid Eating Nudibranches or Zoa POX?

Do you dip for Corals and check for Pests or Pox?

There are so many people that keep Zoanthids and they are considered very very easy to keep so I am guessing that you are having a problem with one of the two or both possibly.
