40B...single G2 radion (2012) at 50% 14 inches above water...just picked up a G3 pro for $250 and from what i calculated off a site i found i'll need to turn that down to 40% to get similar par...i really want to get hold of a meter to actually check what i have before i swap them

I don’t like the shimmer or night at the disco look

I was actually saying I like the halide shimmer and the lack of the chaotic 'disco ball' effect of the LEDs. I'd go to all T5s if halide bulbs somehow disappeared. They're so good at surrounding everything with light.

xr30 on the tub. Hydra 32 with a couple AI primes on the main. Xr15 with reefbites on the shallow sps frag. And a kessil a160 on the low light lps. All are growing stuff

I would go radion with the reef brite on a new build. I like the windex blue look compared to the hydras. They seem to be a little warmer to me no matter how hard I try. Also not a big fan of the shimmer from kessil anymore
