Its definitely not an common hobby anemone. It literally looks like (in the first photo) a lobo surrounded by a ring of sponges and then the second one looks nothing like it lol.


I think its Diadumene lineata. Did you happen to buy live rock? As in live ocean rock?

Yes it is ocean rock

My thoughts were the same, looks like a lobo but definitely isn’t.

The polyps look nothing like any true coral I have seen so that is why I was leaning towards something related to the anemone I found. It is weird because it looks like 2 different things in the pics lol

stumped me too and i been in the game for quite awhile. Pretty awesome to find something unusual. Thats why I spend the extra coin for ocean rock.

Its not hard. very similar foot to a normal nem.
